and directing people. We purposely repeated "people"
because they are the ones that make the project successful.
A good project manager understands the value of people and how
to work with them.

working with and understanding people. We have learned,
partly by the school of hard knocks (our favorite institution
because we've spent so much time there) that the easiest way to
improve and grow in people management is through reference
